It is always lovely to receive a gift that has been lovingly wrapped and then topped with a homemade tag.
MATERIALS
Thick white artist paper or card stock
Red paper
Scrap of patterned paper (or use a contrasting color)
Natural wool roving (or cotton wool)
Mini gift tag (optional)
Tools
Pencil
Scissors
White craft (PVA) glue
Black marker pen
Using the template trace and cut out the Santa from thick white artist paper. Repeat to cut out a Santa in red paper. Cut out the small sack shape from the patterned or contrasting paper.
Glue the red Santa onto the white Santa and then glue the sack in place. Use the black marker to color the boots black.
Pull out a small amount of the wool roving and use your fingers to manipulate it into the right shapes to fit Santa’s beard, coat, and hat trim. Glue in place.
You can hang your Santa tag by looping some string around his neck or simply sliding him under the ribbon of a present. If you like you can add a mini gift tag to the string around Santa’s neck.
