If you have always fancied making a crochet garland but have been a little overwhelmed at the prospect, this daisy chain garland couldnʼt be easier for your first attempt. The daisy petals are simple chains, attached to a circle in the centre, and the leaves are created by working progressively longer stitches to create the shape. Each element has the exact same pattern, but by working them in different colourways you will create a detailed garland that looks more complicated than it actually is.

Making up and finishing
Lay the rope on a flat surface so that it is taut and straight. If you are using a hot glue gun to attach your flowers and leaves you may wish to place some old card under the rope before you start the next step.
Now place the flowers and leaves in the position that you want them to
be and, once you are happy with the arrangement, start sticking each piece to the rope with the hot glue gun. If you prefer you could stitch the flowers and leaves in place with a sewing needle and thread.
