Base: Thread tapestry needle with long tail. Make small running sts around one open edge to form bottom of head. Pull sts tog, secure yarn tightly to keep end closed. Do not fasten off and keep yarn tail and needle on outside of pumpkin. Stuff head.

Top: Pass threaded needle up from base of head, through center of stuffing to opening. Make a running st around sts of top opening. Pull sts tog, secure end tightly to keep top closed and sew end in securely.
